Bedtime Banana Bliss Balls

Potassium, vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium and tryptophan are the key players in the game here, and these little snacks have got the all-star line-up.⁠⁠⁠
⁠I like to eat mine as an after-dinner dessert, with a glass of soy milk for added calcium.⁠⁠

  • 8 Medjool dates, pitted if using another smaller variety, use 12
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds


  • Add everything to a food processer and mix on low/medium speed until everything is combined. The mixture will be fairly sticky.⁠⁠
  • Using a 2 Tbsp cookie scoop, portion out the mixture and roll into balls.⁠⁠
  • Refrigerate for a couple of hours before eating, and keep the balls stored in the fridge. ⁠⁠
